Hi all ,

the ship: "Stargazer" shows the cruising speed with 350
( I play discovery 4.93.0.1 )

In which INI-File is the ship Cruising speed located ?
In "shiparch.ini" is'nt it located.

Can anybody help?

Thank you
Boomer

You can find it in constants.ini
Although other factors can influence it as well...

Hi Cpt_Rei_Fukai,

Thank you for your answer.

But it dosen't work in my game.

I Play Discovery 4.93.0.1
The Starting ship is configured by Crusing time 425
The Shipname is: Stargazer
In the file "constants.ini" i found the Value 350.

After your answer i changed this value from 350 to 150 (Only for the test). But if i start my game, the cruising time is 425

Do you have any idea, to change this value in Discovery?

best regards
Boomer

Are you playing on their server? If so, your local settings are likely overridden. Beware that such modifications may be flagged as cheating.

Apart from that, in my mod every ship has a different (cruising)speed, because I added a second engine to them.
Like I said there are other influencing factors.

Discovery uses a plugin called MultiCruise [https://forge.the-starport.net/projects/multicruise/files] for that. All the [Engine] blocks have a cruise_speed entry, which is where it's max speed is defined. If it doesn't it uses the speed defined in constants.ini instead
