People are entitled to believe in a community. And believe it or not its still here.

Yes there aren't massive amounts of players left, but there are enough people left to spread the word.
Especialy when a small group, sponsored by the rest of the community, tries to put effort into making either a extremely nice mod, or other footage what could help to get this community on its feet again.

The technoligy is around, there are little or no games with the freedom like you have in the FL game.

What makes me extremely disapointed are the people who slack down a project like this before it even started. What if the people who are willing to participate have lots of fun in doing this?
Is that a shame? Is it bad to even try such a thing without knowing what the outcome is?

Before you click away this post, or scroll down to a other post (or up) ... Think what your are doing on a Freelancer community site and what you were doing here in the first place.
Some how the Freelancer community is still interesting... otherwise you wouldn't be posting here.

aahh okay azz I meant LX is as bad as you, anyways enough of this. I read what you have said fox and if I am not mistaken somewhere in one of these forums it was stated that sp wants to be the center of the fl community, in so mnay words it stated such things. It also went on to state that they still needed to keep tlr around because it was the gateway in more or less. So you want to use tlr as means of pulling in new players but dont want to include in the community, I believe this is what you were getting at Lymyx, you ppl dont want unity if you did then you would work on getting the whole of the community together instead just for your small group of ppl here and who you choose you like. TLR beeter then any other community simply because it is the main getway for ppl coming in you should start there I offered an olive branch to the community through Lancer Sol as a means to help everyone come together and set down what ever feelings I had about previous ppl before, but I guess he needed your permission. So there goes another chance out the window, and I totally agree with LX what big company is going to want to waste resources on fl or its fragmented community.

I had my fun.

This thread has de-railed and gone to hell. If you want to continue the current discussion create a new topic.

As of now this thread is obsolete. I plan on revising the video idea some more in a new thread. I will be co-ordinating with each major mod that wants to participate and create a separate video as my YouTube video implies. ("Part 1 of the Freelancer: Still Alive Initiative series of videos."
