    I figured Iā€™d mention that locked_gate can be used on any solar object, including stations. This is a great way to make a generic npc-only base that is defined in any system (players crash upon entering/exiting a base not defined for just that system), for things like catering to cargo-scan patrol paths (which must start and end at a faction base), etc.

    Also, Iā€™ve been using locked_gate lines for a while now, and it seems like MP characters are updated to the new locked_gate entries as soon as they log in, even if some are deleted. I donā€™t know about SP saves though, as those are an entirely different beast.

    Well, Iā€™m not sure Aargh is correct about the numerical order thingā€¦

    I have two scripts. One is named 0210_shiparch_1 and the second is named 0210_shiparch_2. The second one modifies stuff thatā€™s modified in the first. It fails though because apparently the first script isnā€™t run yet.

    Is my naming convention OK?

    follow up edit:
    Yeah, Iā€™m going to have to say that so far numerical order does nothing when it comes to the order in which the scripts are run.

    For example, 0210_market_ships.xml does NOT seem to run before 0220_market_ships.xml and 0210_shiparch_1.xml does NOT run before 0210_shiparch_2.xml.

    Changing the names to something like 0210_A_shiparch.xml and 0210_B_shiparch.xml also does not work.
    Can anyone steer me straight?

    download this file its zipped loot props ini its from the order mod i made this along time ago mace supplied the original loot props ini and from tutorials i made it better

    If you donā€™t know with what to open a file open it with notepad and look at the encoding on the top e.g. UTF, then use the program you normaly use to open the files of that type.

    hmm, i see wht ur probs with the hamachi network server, it hangs each secondā€¦and i think it has to do with all the view range and the number of NPCs being loaded 2 times

    the exec has already been changed to be the order. this was my original mod i used to run on my server . i decided to make it single player because some people in my forums wanted to play the mods even though the server is gone. so i picked one of the more stable versions and made it single player. besides the file in the exec folder is for multi player on servers. ok now i see what you mean but its not compressed do you know how to make the file look normal?

    well i thought it might be flac, but flac doesnt issue the warnings with .\UserData.cpp(1493) The Flac errors start with a different prefix.

    Iā€™ll contact eagle as well just in case
