    And that behavior is probably the single thing I hate the most about FL 😠

    I have to say I was a bit surprised that ShapeDB errors would cause a crash; I have like 50 of them in my WIP version and never had a crash because of them.

    Honestly, if you’re crashing in the middle of space for no reason, check encounters and patrol paths. If you’re crashing at specific points, check what you’re doing at that time and what is related to that action.

    Cheers, LS. But sarma.txm has only one MIP texture.

    Still, I’ll try adding in the alpha channel, which I was wondering about but as you can probably tell I’m not a very graphicy-texturey person.

    I think that’s used when you use low effect-quality settings. So if you set the effects-quality really low in the game options, a smaller value is used…. It doesn’t make too much sense though, that’s what I think. Any other ideas?

    the registry path should be either HKLM\Software\LeipzigCity\CheatersDeath or HKCU\Software\LeipzigCity\CheatersDeath

    And the problem with Colorado was one of my personnel had set restrictions for that system and forgot to release them. So, all is well.

    The navmap ctd is due to the inability of FL to draw all the fields. If you change the field entries to show no pattern in the navmap, it shouldnt crash. you will need to change both asteroids and nebula entries in the system ini by editing the “property_flags =”

    my mod features a new house, with all the ship classes. ofc i can’t use the same engine scheme/shape/color of another house, right? so, my idea is to use a house’s ales as a base (bretonia) to the new house’s ales. from the bretonian engines, the idea is to change the color to green, like rheinland.

    what i mean:
    engine ales with the shape of bretonia, but the color of rheinland, in all the classes (fighters to battleships).

    A couple of suggestions

    Did you make a loadout for it in loadouts.ini?

    You referenced a base in universe.ini, but not the system for it. Is it there?

    Did you build new paths? (shortest_legal_path etc)

    and, even though a few of these folks might disagree with me, I would recommend setting your start place through the newcharacter.ini rather than the mpnewcharacter.fl. I have been doing it this way for 2 years with no problems.
