    Haven’t looked too closely at it, yet, but the function used to obtain the reputation info (Reputation::Vibe::GetGroupFeelingsTowards) always returns 0 in MP.

    Friendlyfire just uploaded the offset edit to the SVN. Enigma, the guy working on the textures (and the same person who created the totally l33t new icons), says he is going to give it a go tomorrow. He is pretty fast on turnaround, so I don’t expect it to be too long.

    As far as I can tell, there is no limit to the number of systems in the path files, which suggests the problem is actually with the number of gates/holes in the system itself. That was “fixed” in the related topic.

    What you are saying is how it would be done anyways …

    The hook would intercept the destination coords when entering a system and instead place you at the coords you’d specified.

    As like in your jump gate method.

    The only time a player would be jumped elsewhere is by forcing entrance to the hyperspace area where they would be placed based on position determined by the system they came from, i.e;, sat near the new york exit hole for example.

    A jump to Colorado they’d travel through hyperspace for a little bit, and then use colorado exit to the coords they’d entered in prior to reaching hyperspace.

    Besides, doesn’t it lead to corrupted data because its a beam to a base/planet/station?

    Would a beam to open space not be different as it doesn’t trigger any saving of data to the server files, only when you land?

    Thats the original bloom shader there Sushi, I’m referring to the Resident Evil 5 one, the one mentioned in that thread is the RE4 version of bloom, not realistic colours like this one exhibits.

    But thanks for the link, gives me some perspective 🙂

    Patch common.dll to allow pressing two keys to strafe diagonally.

    Tbh i was curious how it can be done. I mean you can disable F1 useage in FLAC, plus Alcanders files are not excactly difficult to come by.

    I also don’t see the problem with it as F1 isn’t accessible in SP anyway unless you’re docked so don’t see the fuss. It’s hardly an exploit as it would put the client at a disadvantage from the word go in a fight on a server, where F1 useage is as per normal in multiplayer.

    Reason i asked is i was thinking of using this feature, just wanted to know how to do it manually as opposed to using one of Alcanders files which are at best, buggy

    I don’t know if it’s possible to run 2 flservers on same machine, but if it is i don’t see a problem in running them both with flhook.

    I personally couldn’t run 2 flservers without using VM for a one. Maybe it was due to low privileged user though.

    Create two users: user1 and user2.
    Log In user1, copy freelancer to flserver1 folder, start flserver, wait untils it starts and then shutdown - it is for creating server profile
    Log In user2, copy freelancer to flserver2 folder, -//-
    As admin enable remote desktop to flservers pc and move user1 and user2 to remote desktop users group
    If you have windoze xp google remote desktop patch for two terminal sessions
    If you have windoze 2003 - simply login remotely user1 and user2, configure different udp ports for flservers on server pc and router/firewall %)
    Then run flserver1 from user1 and flserver2 from user2.
    Generally need to close terminal session windows - not logoff! %)

    In this case flhook does not conflict with other.
