Just curious why all weapons have this line?
light_anim = l_gun01_flash Don't get me wrong i know what it does but just wondered why only the liberty one is used? I tried the others and they all work

Those are not what i'm talking about guys. I'm talking about the muzzle flash effect not the weapon effect. The Tiz is easily fixed as it was a typo in the original, same with the rapier.
I've noticed with the muzzle flash is that it's different for each house, seems silly to create them and not use them is all. Liberty gets a white flash which is used universally in vanilla, but there are others, yellow, green red and blue iirc. Look good in game. I appreciate there's a lot of unused stuff, you only have to look at the FX file for that, but really surprised these muzzle effects were left unused.

Did that, can't find a reference to this @serris Have a look in lightanim.ini, they are all in there, loads of unused ones
