***UPDATE***

I've decided that what I've been doing isn't working out so well, so here's the plan from here on out:

I'm going to finish the story in its entirety, edit it, and then post it all in one big, final update. This means you'll have to wait longer, but the chapters should be of higher quality (since I'll take longer to revise them) and you'll get the story all in one, instead of having enough time between updates to forget everything. I'm not going to give a definite date, but I'm aiming for, at the latest, October 1. I've got a few ideas for chapter 20 (after about a month of scratching my head trying to find one), and I'm hoping it'll just snowball until I find myself writing the epilogue. Hang in there, folks!

Well, I have somewhat goodish news. I've completed Chapters 20, 21, and 22. 20 and 21 I rather dislike for some reason, don't know why, they just didn't seem to come together well. Chapter 22 is, I think, one of the best I've written. I'm stuck on 23, in which a massive battle occurs, but I can't seem to write it. October 1st is definitely out of the question...

For those of you who are interested, I found the time to get access to the internets in this cave I've been living in, and I've posted a teaser for Chapter 20. It's rough, not formatted well, and likely has many errors, but until I can get motivated again, it's the best I can do. Don't worry, my stubborness is legendary. It may take time, but I will finish the story.
