Anyone got a spare server box lying around?

Gamers' Abode is currently in the process of trying to set up a Freelancer server for themselves and the community, but unfortunately with our limited funds we cannot afford a dedicated server, and our attempts at hosting a home server flopped.

So, we're now calling out to the community to see if anyone would be willing to voluntarily host a server for us. We don't care if it's a home server or not, as long as it's not too laggy, it's perfectly fine. Our mod of preference is Discovery, but we don't have anything against other mods as long as the mod authors allow player-hosted servers.

If you think we're being greedy and uncivilized by posting something like this, then I apologize in advance. :L

Eh yeah, me. You just need to...ehm, *poke* me once and then in Jabber, but I am not sure if the "forwarding ports" stuff works as it should do....

Sure, I seem to have lost your Jabber details though, mind posting them again?

Thanks. I'm having some trouble adding you though, I've never used Jabber before. I've registered at Jabber.org, and got Pidgin to use that account. What now?

Select XMPP as protocol. Just add my contact as you do with any other contact.
