lol, ok after digging for a hardcoded offset for an hour, I found out that those brackets are not hardcoded, but they are dependent on the scanner range (which is 2500 as a standard)..

So just mod your scanner to a very low scanning range (like 1), this will get rid of those brackets.

cool that worked but problem is it also get rid of playername when you expand target bracket is it somehow possible that names are seen on scanner and when you expand target a player ?

About scanner range in which file you can change this scanner distance ? sory for noob questions i am still new about modding xD

scanner range -> misc_equip.ini

the offset hack for the brackets is in FL.exe at
0x00EC19C
Change the 4byte value of 04985C00 to 68A15C00

/edit

this will make the brackets invisible at pretty much all distances

there is one final thing i would like to get rid of,

the small crosshair of hostile unselected ships,
don't know yet if it's a File or a EXE hack,

i guess it's hack, my Interface folder has no files that would fit to it, or i'm totally wrong
