I have heard of newer versions of FLHook than 1.5.5, but they were developed by other mod communities, so I always assumed they were not for public use and steered clear of them. It would be nice to have a legitamte download that all can use.

Easy desires... /ping etc that other players are used to having.

maybe two more levels for server helpers. Superadmin gives it all, it would be nice to have a
Helper1: msg, kick (no ban), beam, chars
Helper2. all of above plus cash and kickban (when they have proved themselves)

You did want a wish list right? ;D

What about this? I must have found this on the old TLR somewhere and have been using it with no problems. It removes the need to edit mission 13:

[StoryInfo]
Mission = No_Mission
MissionNum = 41
delta_worth = -1.000000

also, instead of these 3 lines:

system = Bj01
pos = 3216,31314,-21775
rotate = 175,-15,179.8

I simply use this one line:

base = OR01

It places me inside my start planet nicely.

edit...I tried it with the default pos/rotate and it made no difference. Seems the newcharacter.ini overrides the newplayer.fl

Beg pardon, but if you don't include all the systems I listed, you will have to live with this in the console. Unless you know something I don't?

In your universe.ini you must have the following systems:

FP7, St01, St02, St02c, St03, St03b

and the following bases:

Intro1, Intro2, Intro3_base

Note that you do not have to link your new mod to any of these systems, I didn't. Just modify their position to shove them off into a corner somewhere and forget about them.

Great job again! New errors found:

ship goods "addons"...168 FIXED

Nicknames
Pilot_population
Pilots_story
SoundCFG...51 errors FIXED

All went away except the two pilots ones. Some showed the error even though they were already capitalized, they all still show after fixing (although it may not be possible for the checker to tell if they are capitalized?) If so, maybe those could be converted to warnings rather than errors.

Thanks for the hard work!

[glow=red,2,300]WARNING: invalid MSG id[/glow]

How many custom factions, systems & bases do you have, as this error is usually caused by using a "msg_id_prefix" that doesn't exist in the UTF files ie "msg_id_prefix = gcs_refer_faction_da_x", only two ways to fix this, use existing entries for your custom content, or make brand new sound files for them and add them to the UTF & INI files.

72 new factions, 108 new systems, 450 new bases. However, all of those errors also exist in the vanilla systems (not used or edited in my mod). Since they also carried over into my mod, they must relate to something in common with both. I have not placed npcs in space yet, so it is not them.

Interesting about the msg_id_prefix. I had one of these show up on a custom commodity (150 or so of these). FLEC flagged it so I could fix it.

Did I ever tell you that you rock?! ;D

The UnderVerse currently has zero errors from all the checkers including your 009 FLEC. But one problem still shows in flspew related to atc_leg_f01a voice (from many vanilla systems and mine too since it is there as well):

WARNING: invalid MSG id (214748364 for voice profile (0xb02cfbc0)
---------------------------------------------------

The following is probably already fixed in your next release (where is it! hehe)

System 'E:\Freelancer\DATA\UNIVERSE\SYSTEMS\LI01\li01.ini'

Line 470 : Encounter 'area_trade_transport' : Total 1.000
Line 549 : Encounter 'area_trade_transport' : Total 1.000
Line 775 : Encounter 'area_trade_transport' : Total 1.000
Line 1126 : Encounter 'tradelane_trade_transport' : Total 1.000
Line 2320 : Encounter 'tradelane_trade_transport' : Total 1.000
Line 2832 : Encounter 'tradelane_trade_transport' : Total 1.000

etc...

Found 10 encounters not equaling 1.0

Keep up the good work!

Hehe. Working 8 hours a day, then modding 8 hours each night. Running a team, admining 3 sites, admining the DRH server...oh ya, while modding. Doesn't leave me much time to visit, lol.
