An excellent update on this tool matey. I can now edit the VWireData, component parentage and rotation data in plain text, lovely. When is the reconvertor coming?

Gibbon, to use the tradep_trade_smuggler and tradep_trade_freighter_smuggler the npcs have to be have to have their type set as _smuggler. In vanilla only the Rouges and Junkers have these attributes, so if your using anything else or out of their d-range they aint going to show up. I think thats set in npcships.ini and factionprops (not sure offhand) have a look and I'm sure you'll see it in the Rouges and Junkers sections

I remember someone did the Command Carrier or whatever it was called (the large doughnut shaped one), years ago. Probably in one of the Re-Balance mods.

But sorry, dont know anybody who made the Bioships. Pity really cuz they were quite good

I was just going to reply with almost the same thing Gibbon just wrote...

The wrecks in the vanilla Omicron Beta use this code, you can loot them as many times as you please, so long as somebody hasnt had them first! lol

I would love it to be as simple as this!

Trouble is it isnt. As far as I know.. this can only be done partially with hooks. The Procyon server managed to get it working with a version of flhook somehow (again afaik).

Maybe Adoxa can write a dll hook to get this working properly, hint-hint . Once he's finished creating all those hardpoints for us of course

Sounds like you want the"big daddy" mod BigDaddy StoryLine mod for Freelancer.
mod was a bit harder but it did have the redesigned light/heavy fighters and some freighters by flybyu

nope, got those and that and the concept art movies off the limited edition DVD. Lancersreactor used to have an expanded range inculding concepts for the Nomad Sunkiller and other stuff may 4-5 years ago, just wondered if anyone else had it.

Does anyone know what happened to or have access to the concept art section they used to have on the old Lancersreactor?

I was looking for the series of pictures they had depicting the Rheinland "stol"s and the alternative civillian designs with a view to producing them.

I know they were there a while back but its all changed over there.

Can anyone help? Thanks

Making the asteroid fields mineable (and unmineable) on the nav map is set by the visit line
visit = 32 ; unmineable
visit = 36; mineable
hope I got the order right I'm not at my compu right now

as an aside you will have to delete the visit line from your save games aswell as FL will not update the new value if you have the zone already on your nav map.

Nice tut for knowledgemap.ini, but its not the complete answer. I've had my zones named for years now and I still get this message even in vanilla systems. It is generated by the job board and the relationship to the vignette zone but no ammount of editing seems to change it. Anybody else have any ideas?
