I want to know of this app / program will work with Freelancer? It shows a list of games it will work with and some of them are older games but, I know some that are using it on games not listed on the site.
Also, if it works, what are the odds if it's used for a modded client and being tagged for cheating? I want to try and sharpen my game since, I've never been able to install it on my W7 to notice any change with it, if any. It's only used for visual enhancements and nothing else.

Doubt you'd get flagged for cheating, but unless ReShade has a DirectX 8 compatibility module/DLL/whatever like ENB has, you're unlikely to make it work.
Best way to know, though, is to just try it yourself?

ReShade says on the front page that it supports D3D8 and there's a Freelancer preset available (which apparently requires ENB, though), so I guess it works.

I use reshade for a good amount of time already.
It works well with FL and should not cause any problems at all.
