Hey!
I've been trawling the internet, and have yet to find any documentation on how a .sur is represented on disk. Does anyone have any info about that? It'd be much appreciated. Thanks!

No documentation, but there's some programs on my site. There's also a tutorial here that may be helpful.

Reading is actually a lot easier than creating them. With the source of adoxa's sur dumper it should be no problem. There was also a thread here where people had been trying to figure it out but I can't find it anymore.
Edit: There is also the source of the UTF Editor. It is C# so you should be able to use it in your FL Clone.

If it's a bot, it's the weirdest I've seen in a while and it doesn't spam or link to bad sites. I'm not convinced though, so I'll just let him be for now.

I've had several of those at our site. Sometimes they just copy posts from other people, sometimes they post stuff based on words which appear in the posts and are general answers. After a while advertising links follow. Their posts are never helpful, but rather confusing since the answers are always just general stuff without meaning.

Old thread I know but amused me.
From the timeframe and description at least one was Google's bot they got stomped for sending out to gather "keywords and trending data". Hackers captured it and made it malicious. Today there's worse that does worse. It's called "Chrome" ![]()
