If Freelancer does not start at all under Windows 10, before trying anything else please replace your Freelancer.exe in your ./EXE directory with the official No-CD EXE from here:

I have windows 8 i have download freelancer 2.0 i also have download ManagerMod 1.31 But it won't work by me on the computer I have a old version from Freelancer the one what is relieve in 2003 it is a original cd what is install i can play the game but the old version and when i want to go online to play there is also not working do you have a advice for me to play Freelancer 2.0 Crossfire the last stand.

Im pretty sure that both, the original game and the mod work very well under windows 8.
Just follow the installation instructions and you will be fine.

but that does not have anything to do with the mod or with windows 8
the mod was tested prior its release under windows 7, 8 and 10 there are plenty of players which use it with windows 8

I'm still getting a sudden crash after the movies on Windows 10, and I am using the NoCD file indicated... Surely there must be something else I can check or try.
EDIT: found the issue, corrupted old save files

After you use the CD Crack and you're still having issues running the game, Go to programs and features from your control panel. then click "Turn Windows Features On or Off" and you will need to check the box called "Legacy Components"... WINDOWS FEATURES ARE WHERE IT'S AT.. It's not a permissions issue.

I know you're happy to have found the problem for you, but the last relevant poster here already mentioned what their problem was, and it wasn't that. Plus, this has been dead for almost half a year.
I'd appreciate if you could only post your advice when it is actually relevant.

Talking about Starlancer, is there a way to force it 24bit colors depth? Because the color depth is really low on recent OSs.
