Well, I've finally decided to start putting up my own sequel to Freelancer. The two mods I've released are a foundation for the fic, and my current mod is set to take place just after the fic ends. Here's a linky:

I have, unfortunatly, run into something that gets all writers at one time or another. It is worse than real life, worse than hecklers, worse than boredom. It is the dreaded WRITER'S BLOCK! I know exactly how this story is going to end, I just haven't found a way to bridge the gap between now and the end yet. I will finish this fic, and I'll (hopefully) get the next chapter posted sometime soon-ish. I'll update this thread when that happens. See, this is why I was put off posting the story for so long, because I didn't want to leave people hanging. Alas, however, I have little choice. In the meantime, I'll be working on my Potter fic (which won't be posted for a long time), hoping that some evil little plot bunnies find their way into my head in the meantime. Stick in there folks, the ending of the story will open up many possibilities for a sequel.

lol, you US? im 19 and able to do anything legally in here (UK), if you cant do that, go for a walk
(longest walk me and my friend have done to date was 9 miles, and that was in the early hours of the morning cus i needed to vent lol)

Yep, I'm a Yank (that is what you crazy Brits call us, right?). Truthfully, I think the problem is that I have too many ideas for my Potter fic and they're interfering with my Freelancer thinking. Maybe writing a few more chapters for the Potter fic will cure it... or maybe not. Who knows? It's 11:15. I'm off to bed.

Now I'm jealous for not actually being able to make you guys read my stuff :-\
But don't worry MK, you'll get through it quickly I'm sure. Best bet is to either play FL or do something totally different... Say, play chess or read a WW2 book or something, but nothing related to sci-fi in the smallest fraction. Usually works to get the inspiration juices flowing here. Oh and, I know it might sound simple, but make plans. Detailed plans. I have a way too long plan, but at least I don't get lost in my writing ;D
