Ya, I mostly agree with all the points raised... It is probably not worth it to do any design changes while we keep the ancient Xoops base CMS system.

I also do not really see a future for the site other than it being an archive of FL resources.

Yeah i partially agree too so nvm. Only thing is i think we still can make something with a game, but this is a theme for another topic maybe some time later.

Well there certainly won't be any new actual Freelancer games coming however even now there still seem to be new Freelancer mods coming out and of course there's all the "spiritual sequels" (eg Rebel Galaxy Outlaw, Starpoint Gemini 3, Underspace, Everspace 2 etc etc) that keep arriving almost every year which if the site offered some mod support/hosting/forum sections for might bring in new crowds.

But yeah I've seen a number of great sites fall to bits during a upgrade/transition over the years (eg Apolyton Civ mods) so it would be awful if something like that happenedh ere.
