To wich program files folder did you install the proccesmanager?
Now i don't know the home version of Windows 7 but i guess this one will have a program files(x86) folder to.?

Did you install it to the x86 folder or the normal "program files" folder?

All what you install to the x86 folder about freelancer stuff will cause in most cases problems of not running proper. (atleast that's my experience, don't know how other people experiece that)

Have you open the port 2302 in your router?
Acces to the firewall?

Not sure but didn't you need a patch?

I have no idea what that means or how to fix it. Also like I said, IF I can get it to load Freelancer crashes every time I try to play it SP.

You need to have the readonly option dismarked in the FLMM.

But what OS do you use?

No, I haven't, but I'm aware of how much work is involved and if I ever did, I would definitely allow it to spread out over any number of different servers. It'd be really nice to see people using my work after I had put so much effort into it.

For a part you are right.

But if there are for example 20 servers with two players on it, than your mod isn't optimal spread out to. (sorry, hope you understand what i'm try to tell. Can't explain it well in english )

We prefer one server with 100 people, than 100 servers with 2 people.

There is only one difrence to. A few years ago the server from WTS closed because of all kind of troubles. I contact the owner/modder from our WTS World and ask him if i was allowed to put up WTS World again with his mod. He agree with it that moment. I step into blank because i totally had no clue of running it all. But i found our mod to good to let it die, also the wts community i try to keep up. I still have that opinion after so many years now.

F!R is our modder/owner and he agree that i'm running WTS World, but if he tells me tomorrow that i need to close the server, (for what reason) despite all the people i must disapont than, i close the server. Why? Because it's his work, not mine.

If owners/modders decide that there must be only one server/mod running, than people must respect that. And than it's the owner/modder his/her choise to let it die if he/she don't want to spent time anymore to it. Regardless if it's a pitty or not. But it's his choise and he have the right to make it as you call "Elite"

If you wanna host a server than you could atleast contact the owner/modder of it, and ask if you are allowed to host it.

If you had make a mod and spent all the 100 of hours into it, and don't mind that there will be 20 servers, than it's fine, everybody respect that. Only you can't stick a label on people who think difrent in that way.

Did you ever make a mod?
If yes, than you know how much work it is to make one.

If no... Than start to find out how hard it is to make one. And than let's c if you wanna spread all your hard work out over several difrent servers from all kind of difrent people. Or if you would like if it's spread over 20 difrent servers and on all those 20 servers play only 2 people. Well, if that's the case, than you have really honor of your work....not....
Than not to mention all the questions if they can't handle it to get it work.

You call it Elitest? That's your opinion. I don't share that.

Mods activate fine

Now everything seems to install just fine and run just fine as far as the game goes. The Mod Manager is a different story. It seems to install ok.

There stands "It seems to install ok"

But it doesn't. Otherwise you can't get a deinstall error nor other problems.

I have had that several times in the past. It looks like the mod was correct activated, but it wasn't. Altough FLMM told it was installed fine.
The game did start up, but some things where wrong and you collaps to desktop or got other problems.
Couldn't deactivate the mod also, because nothing than errors. Copyd all the files from the activated mod and no problems at all anymore.
Window's 7 is a bit hars with overwriting files when you want to.

I don't say this is the problem with the TS, but it could be a tip for him to try

Win 7 is a bit messy for modmanager. (Or more)
But if you activate the mod, copy all the files from the activated mod to your Freelancer directory it should work fine.

It looks like it overwrite all files but it doesn't. Regarless if you disable the UAC or dismark the "read only" in modmanager.

And the safegames you can find in:

TLR was the first FL community I joined, more than 6 years ago, for most of those 6 years it's been the ONLY FL community I felt any need to be a member of.

I'm not reacting quickly to this kind of bull** about TLR, but it start to make me puke now, all those so called "wanna be TLR people"
The original TLR went down 3 or 4 years ago. After that MS pull of the plug.

After this some people try to make a new start. Wich isn't bad.
But if people always keep hanging on into the past, they must try to download a new life. And nobody pulls a gun against your head and tells ya that you need to feel a member here. But you could atleast respect everybody who have another opinion as you and/or do feel athome here on the TSP community.

If you joined TLR 6 years ago and it's already 3 or 4 years down, than you can never be a real "TLR" member again. What is death can't become to life. Or they call it a "Zombie"
The new name is TLR.ORG. It's still not the old TLR.COM
They can give it a try to let it flow again, but it will never be the same as the past.

So please.....

in order to not open another thread, another question ^^

is there anyone who has a freelancer server with flhook on a 7 64bits ?

the server runs very well of course but i didn't succeed to launch flhook with :s

any idea ?

Normally i don't run it on a window's 7 machine. But a few weeks ago my powersupply from the server crash, so i put up quickly the server on my own pc, wich runs win7 64bit, and even FLHook was running.

What i did? Don't know actually, nothing special. Only disable standard the UAC from windows 7, disable bitdefender and don't use the IPV6, don't use the application experience. I'm using another virusscanner etc.

Maybe you can check how you define the Heuristic bloodhound.
If that is loaded to max norton is hyperactive.

obviously your IPv6 is still being enabled, somewhere, somehow. and if so there must be a way to disable it entirely, at least temporarily.

This you could do in:

Networkcentre - Lan connection - Properties - dismark internet protocol ipv6 (tcp/ipv6)

Put the right rights into the firewall?

Sorry, don't think I'm using that program. My antivirus is MSE and yes I've allowed FL thru the firewall.

Bitdefender is a standard program in Windows 7. It comes during installation of the OS

You can disable it by:
Control pannel - System management - Services
Windows defender

Doubleclick on that. Stop the task and put it on disabled.
