Adoxa (or anyone ), could you help me with package?

The full package is 1A-01-04-00-00-00-00-00-00-00, type is 0x1A01. It happens when we're opening commodity dealer list - I'm assuming it's some sort of asking for price\list from server, but I can't find reference to it anywhere. Info about how to respond to it would be awesome.

P.S.: Win8.1 - impossible to launch vanilla FLServer

No, just a usual base.
I found a problem - awful typo in dplay protocol's ACK responses + i didn't report player's own group\rank\system - dunno which one fixed it but it works now.

Nah, I'm modifying FOS.
Well it looks like under certain circumstances (unknown) clean client does not ask for new room's info when switching rooms in multiplayer.

After that, client should send FLPACKET_CLIENT_REQUESTLOCATIONINFO roomid=otherroomid type=1, but it doesn't. What could be the cause?

Disregard that, I messed up the data flow; that should be the outgoing packets.
If anyone stumbles upon that thread: 52\54-02 packets are the player list enums and rank\sys\grp updates.

Check the tech incompatiblity message when undocking.
It means you're using incompatible tech (i.e. Gallic guns with Liberty ship, etc.).
You can check the techcompat chart @ Discovery website.

The easiest option would be downloading Freelancer Discovery mod - it has FLHook builtin and everything set up.

To manage player accounts you may want to use the DSAM (http://forge.the-starport.net/projects/dsam/files) or my rewrite of it (http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=98776 , it's beta and may have bugs which you can report to me but that version is faster).

The server ID doesn't matter if it's a local server
Get the freelancer.exe full version.
Current Disco's EXE is 48.74.0.1 but i'm not sure.

So I guess many of you heard of FOS project.

For those who didn't: It's an open-source FLServer implementation written on C# by: FriendlyFire, Cannon, w0dk4, Crazy, Schmackbolzen and utrack.

The current state of the code is best described as spaghetti code, lots of it needs to be rewritten, but the server works smooth.
