Our beloved freelancer turns 20 on March 4th. This is a powerful number, so we, as part of the freelancer community, have prepared a big event for you.

I'm excited to introduce you to the "Freelancer 20th Anniversary event week". from 24th of February 2023 to 5th of March 2023, various activities from various event hosts, mods, and projects will take place. Whether server events, Q&A's, or Play Together, everything is included and is also streamed by the event hosts on Twitch or YouTube.

No , i know that he used the conventional method to create the surs with Sur splicer or something

But the ships and hitboxes are working just fine , could these errors are crashing a server?

Hey ho

one of my friends constructed a few ships for my mod. Simply a few advanced Freelancer Vanilla models.

All works fine in the game, The .cmp works fine, The hitbox or .sur works fine either.

but....my Freelancer Server Console gives me this error !!!! and i dont know what the hell this means and what does this Error exactly do! the game works fine ! without crashes

Error from Console :

Hey ho Modding Club

i have a two important Questions about Random Missions !

First question i have :

How i create Mission Target Zones and connect them to the Bases so that i can accept them in the Bar or by Chars who offer Missions

because i have a little problem with my setup, So that is my Situation :

I created a new System "Tau-41" and placed two bases (1) Freeport 11 (Zoner Base , Bounty hunters offers Missions) / (2) Base Selina (Outcast Base , Outcasts offers Missions)

i red a few Tutorials about Create Missions and i worked in this new System i have fully functional Randommissions BUT!!!!

now i have created a new faction and a base in Edinburgh. i changed the Pop_Zones and added my faction to the patrols and Defend encounters - all fine from here. But now i want my new faction to offers missions so i also set up Zones and all the remaning stuff that i´ve done before and......no Missions ! the Missionboard says all the time "No Mission!.." here is my setup from all the ini´s

hey Starport
I need some help.

I can handle the programm Milkshape a little bit but i cant and i will never can create .sur files. I have tried it out many times but every time with a bad result.

I have 2 ship packs without .sur files
-Starlancer ships convertet by myself
-the "Auger" shippack ( i dont know the name anymore)

can some one create the files for me cuase i will never get it.If .the one who helps me can get the Starlancer ships ^^

it will be very cool if some one helps me

Hi its me again with some new Questions.

(1) :
I have bought a Transporter and want to dock with a Station like "Fort Bush" but after i reached the Dock position nothing happends i stuck in the Dock Cutscene. Can some one tell me what i have to change that i can Dock with Moors and get into the base ?

(2) : I want that my bigger Ships use the Shipyards to dock not the Moors or the normal Docks.How can i change this ?

YEAH I HAVE FIX THE ERROR but

it still crash
sometimes i dock it crash and sometimes i fly around !
i dont know what i have to do to fix it

can some one give me a tipp wehre i can search for this problem ?!?

I have found many of this engines in some other inis that i never modify so i dont think so .

and i have another question :
Error Checker says that in many of Ships not have the hp_bay_surface
hp_bay_external
entries.Could that be the problem too ?
