Hört sich nach den Widescreen Einstellungen an, welche erst angewendet werden wenn man im All ist.
Einfach nach dem Spielstart kurz auf Neues Spiel gehen und dann erst laden.

What you experienced in b) is a part/bug of the net worth calculation.
For that the game takes the resale value of your equipment/ammo, your cash and the default value of any commodities you have in your cargo hold. Now, the bug is that the game will perform this calculation during the transaction, after the commodity has been transferred in your cargo hold but before you paid the money for it. So, if during that phase your net worth raises above the required amount for the next mission you can proceed without actually increasing your worth.

Right now the site only supports the insecure HTTP, which is not really appropriate anymore...
TLS certificates are free nowadays, thanks to LetsEncrypt.

A sequel by MS (or any other mayor publisher) is the worst thing that could ever happen to Freelancer.
It would be some kind of console game with around 100 DLCs and Pay2Win with always on DRM, crappy story and, of course, no community support (aka Mods). I'd rather seen this stuff burned, than seeing the wonderful story and lore of FL beeing destroyed by money hungry capitalists. PS: Btw. MS was developing on FL 2 - for Xbox!

there were some values in the <nebula>.ini for this I think.
Try the near = or distance = stuff, I think one of the both could do this... (long time ago since I used them...)

Wenn du FL installierst hast du die Auswahl zwischen Server installation und Client installation.
Das könnte dir auch weiterhelfen

I recommend you to play Online, it's more funnier.
 The most Server already included a Widescreenfix in their mods.

The atmosphere of the Planets Honshu and Gammu are non lethal
In Sigma 17 you can find a lost nav bouy. In Tau-37 you can find a lost gravity bouy near the sun. The people in bars can tell you many interessting things. There is a destroyed Tradelane in Kepler Before the "Dallas accident" there were no jumpholes in Texas. You can find some debris of the Dallas accident. A day on New Berlin is very long. Around 300 A.S. the Town Mühlheim on New Berlin was destroyed by a laser which was supposed to lighten the dark side of New Berlin. Since the elemination of Mühlheim Rhineland celebrates the "Kaiser Pausback"-Day. A day where you should do something insane. Borderstation Pirna is the only place to buy Class 9 Rhineland weapons. In open game you can find 163 Bases, 45 Systems and 118 holes. There is a jumphole from Hokkaido the Tohoku, but it doesn't work. In Tau-23 you fly arount 5% slower than in every other system. You can buy good on miningstations - but you can't dock there. Interspace Commerce has no NPC Ships. (Except scripted one in Mission 1) There is no missions after Nomad City.
