Just to clearify the confusion:

The FLListServer (DNS entry in fl.ini) works as the original one:
It will list all registered servers (which also use the modified DNS entry) in the internet view.

The GLS workaround fills the mentioned text file with servers listed on the FLListServer + some which have been added manually... or at least should fill it.

These two things work independently from each other.

You need to modify your freelancer.ini on client and server side in order to use the listserver. This modification is already included in JFLP and other mods/patches.

we're searching an ini modder for a few small modding projects on Hamburg City.
It's basically boring stuff like adding bases, ships, effects etc. into an existing mod. But we'd also love to hear your stunning new ideas

Haven't received a ping

Seems the listserver didn't like that I've added an IPv6 subnet to the root server (it's a bit picky to network related things).
I've patched a decompiled version of the listserver so I'm not sure if it's working as it should.
The logs look good tho:

It would be nice if you could add a better visualization for new privates messages (maybe something like the new cookie notification).

You should be able to see that you've got a new message without scrolling (and searching for a small red (x).

I fixed this crash by moving some calculations (including IObjectInspect stuff etc.) from an extra thread into the ServerImpl:Update method.

I think some function calls were overriding internal stuff (as adoxa already guesed).

Seems FLServer doesn't like multihreading when you do any internal stuff.
