My mod would not have been possible without your tools and your information. I got much further than I originally anticipated and created/modified more than I thought was possible for me.

And when I didn't know why it doesn't work, the answer was already here, you just had to search for it.

So yes, I and I think many others still care for this site.
Thank you guys again, you earned it

PS: I'm still working on some wiki articles to write down what I learned, so stay tuned.

Thanks, great to hear.

Also, thanks to Jefferson001 for the generous donation!

Alright, I think I found a bug in my script. Since your server changed IP but was still with the old IP in the last global server update file, it never tried the new IP when added via the website.

It's fixed now and should be in the list!

Guys, the GLS has been down since "Last Global Server Contact: 10/1/2017 4:20:14 AM CE(S)T"

--> http://www.flserver.de/topservers.htm

I tested the ip on the-starport.net and it seems reachable. I re-added your server via http://www.flserver.de/add_server.php

Let's see if it gets picked up. Maybe you added the server while it was offline - in this case, the server does not get added to the database.

Oh don't worry about it

I don't rely on donations to keep it running. It is just a good measure that some people still care about the site

Hey fellow veteran Freelancers

Our site was crashing a few times in the last weeks and we could identify a bad hard drive. The hard drive got replaced and we are up and running again - hopefully this was actually the reason for the crashes. Keep in mind we are already running on enterprise-class level hard drives so we cannot really improve this situation. But I guess our last HDD failure happened 3 years ago (wow time is running fast) so it's actually not too bad.

All the best,
w0dk4

Ya, because it does not use https. Gonna try to switch it to https as well sometime so it can also be included on other https websites.

I'll look into it, should be pretty simple with cloudflare. I agree no HTTPS especially when you are on a WLAN is really bad..

Just wrap it in a .zip archive and it should work

I also have been working on getting the TB vectors generated like presented here: http://crytek.com/cryengine/presentat ... tangent-space-calculation (there is existing c++ code but I need to adapt it to the UTF Editor code in c#).

As you can see, nothing of interest for the normal user (who doesn't understand anything of the above anyway). I will post progress here when I have to show something new

Maybe you find this interesting: http://forge.the-starport.net/project ... diff/UTFEditor/UTFForm.cs
(we also had to add tangent/binormal data for our normal maps etc. in Freeworlds)

Or do you use the tangent data as provided by the UTF editor? Is it faulty?
