I am a admin at www.freeworlds-tow.net/forum and while we are eagerly awaiting 2.0 we want to mod our FW's. We were running 18.xx but it has so many bugs we reverted to 1.65 with some small changes to start out with.
The problem we are having with FLhook is it is suppressing all chat. No matter what version of FLhook we use or what settings in FLhook we change it suppresses the chat. We have a lot of features in our forum and stuff linked to FLhook our forum god of programming Qi has done and would like to keep rolling. We are at a loss here and could use any help. Love and Kisses, Cosmic p.s. Sushi is almost as sexy as I am. I am one of the folks responsible for getting him into Freeworlds. Now that little bugger can fly circles around me. I have to go. My nurse is here with my sponge bath.

Are you using the proper flhook.ini ?
For chat, it has this (remarked out): ;;;;;;;;;;;; ; chat settings ; SuppressX: chat-text entered by players starting with this string will be suppressed but still shown in ; in the eventmode. this simplifies coding a custom ingame-dialogsystem. [Chat] ;Suppress0=/chat ;Suppress1=/etc

Any version of FLhook suppresses the chat.
Qi, I have marked it 0, put nothing there, etc and no dice. Sizer is going to meet me on TS tomorrow and we will sort something out. I am sure it will eventually be taken care of.
