I think it doesn't fit into the typical Libertian style of ships.
 Liberty ships don't have such clumpy wings, Rheinland ships do. Liberty ships are more streamlined, elegant.

For a first try it's not bad. The geometry is still very simple, you need more details. You also have to use more textures. Yours are very streched and will be very blurry in game -> looks not good. (except your Gunship is smaller than a Defender?)

I use the best it exists, Fagu's textures, I will keep it because it is good enough, for me. When it will be finished I will post it to the download section.

Speaking of gunboats, found this lurking on my hd. It's from some ancient mod from 2004. The model was made by LordFjord iirc. It's bit more Liberty looking, i think anyway

I agree, but at least it looks like it's from the Liberty stable. Oddly i saw this model on MODDB in some other mod and did some digging on my hd before i found it in the Exelcia mod.

HOLY-!
My retexts are actually being used by PEOPLE? I liek the ship. Though not as gunboat. More as something in-between gunboat and fighter. Id fix those textures in the engine part, though. Too streched.
