This is incorrect. Freelancer only tests if it exists, thus separable = false is identical to separable = true. JFLP removes the value altogether, just using separable, which the Studio has a problem with (presumably sees it as blank, so doesn't write it back). This also applies to autoselect in news.ini and autoplay in the missions.
