Installing and Managing Mods

Mods are a key component of Freelancer's continued success and prolonged life. It is expected that, at one point in your experience, you will want to try out what the twisted minds of all the modders around here have managed to do. Hence, this guide will help you set yourself up so you can try out any mod that's out there.

First, please make sure you have Freelancer fully setup (see here). It is also suggested to have a working multiplayer as most mods are MP only (see here).
