Bars not popular any more

Hello, recently i was playing around with tohoku and changed things in mbases.ini, and now the bars are empty. Everywhere. I've reloaded mbases.ini to original, and still all the bars are empty everywhere except for the bartender. Missions -do- work, but people don't hand them out any more. I'm just wondering if I'm missing something here. Vanilla freelancer server, no mods activated. Thanks for any assistance.

The vanilla game doesn't appear to have any bar NPC's in Tohuku see below, probably because they're part of the SP campaign game and will have cut scenes instead.

You could copy and edit another mbase entry to add some life to the bar although you'd need to edit the base ini as well as currently they only have bar and deck rooms.

I've added a zip file containing a replacement Bases folder for Tohuku (Ku07) and an mbase edit as well, the new Bases folder needs to replace the existing one and the mbase edit needs to be pasted over the existing Ku07 entry.

No guarantees it'll work though!

[MBase]
nickname = Ku07_01_Base
local_faction = fc_bd_grp
diff = 0

[MVendor]
num_offers = 0, 0

[MRoom]
nickname = bar

[MRoom]
nickname = Deck

[MBase]
nickname = Ku07_02_Base
local_faction = ku_n_grp
diff = 0

[MVendor]
num_offers = 0, 0

[MRoom]
nickname = bar

[MRoom]
nickname = Deck

Attach file:

zip Ku07 data.zip Size: 4.64 KB; Hits: 29

I think what he is saying is that all base characters apart from the bartenders on all bases have vanished. Not quite sure how that could happen if you have already restored the mbases.ini to vanilla. Best to do a reinstall

All bases everywhere seem to have everyone but the bartender out cleaning Leeds smog or something. Guess I'll need to reinstall, again, 3rd time in 3 days i love broken code

Reinstall and mbases file overwrite didn't do it either on their own...but a 3rd reinstall and it's fixed, I really don't know how or why.
