Regarding Discovery 4.86

Hey guys here's two questions asked in a very long winded way

so a friend of mine recently started up his own server running the Discovery 4.86 Mod and we're wondering upon the purchase of a Battleship "So it says that in this battleship there is a docking bay for ships but why can't we bloody dock into the battleship?"

So yeah that is what I am currently asking here. How do I bloody get player owned battleships to be dock-able by other friends?

On another post, I've found out for a mate of mine that in order to turn himself to an admin he can do so using the FLHook which launches after the start of the server. Problem is it has been made known that when he launches the FL Discovery Server, no such FLHook program launches. May I know where I can download the MSCVRT (or whatever that is) libraries and where do I extract / install it to so that the FLHook can launch properly?

Any and every help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Battleship docking is usually controlled by flhook, so, if that isnt working youre not going to be able to dock. Apart from that I dont know how Discovery does it.

As for MSVCRT.dll, there a few different versions to match the various operating systems, trying putting c++ redistributable in a search engine and choosing the version thats right for you.

You need a docking module mounted in your ships.

Docking modules are normally manufactured in Player Owned Bases.

You can also buy them from the Lost Battlestar admin base.

Use the flhook .beam command to get there.
