So I am making for the first time model for freelancer and I'm using Drizzt.4.0 Ship Creating Tutorial. I figured out how to apply texture in milkshape but ship that I created has a lot of vertices and triangles so texturing it is a nightmare. Can texturing be done in some other program and in which one?

You could try for example Blender 3D, with different UV mapping types, or any other 3D modelling program.
You don`t have to map each face one by one, but you map it in different schemes.
You need like time and imagination, and you see that UV mapping can be easy.

It takes lil time to find the tutorials, a lil more to understand them and after that, its just a kids play.

You can download KhED, it has ton of UV Mapping types, cylindrical, cube, spherical (not sphere map) UV mapping... It's free and you can import .ms3d file type.

Thanks for tips and suggestions. I will definitely try out some other program than ms3d.
