I play on discovery RP 24/7 server, well, I've played until last night.
~12 hours ago when I tried to connect to the server the game simply throws me back to desktop and after a while I get an error. The game works fine in single player[on both vanila FL and disco FL] The game worked fine until this morning. I've reinstalled the game several times. Quote: AppName: freela~1.exe AppVer: 48.60.0.5 ModName: remoteserver.dll Any ideas on what might have happen? I did nothing unusual on the past week with my pc, so I have no idea what to do...

Well, check your antivirus first maybe it's blocking the game when you try to connect on internet..

got no antivirus and no firewall. I've also disabled the windows firewall.
I have XP as OS btw.

Can you login with other accounts/IDs/characters?
Tried to create a new character? Might be a problem with a specific star system in your data. You might also want to contact the official mod community, they might be also able to help you (if it is an account related problem you dont have a choice anyways) out

Yes, I tried other accounts.
I've created new character. Still the same problem, the game crashes just after I try to connect to the server. I've just reinstalled windows, and I seem to get the same problem... I really don't know what else to try...

What are the specs of your computer? CPU, RAM, hard drive space etc....
Can you connect to any other servers? What about vanilla servers? Also, how did you go about the Freelancer game and mod install? Keeping in mind that you simply need a fresh FL install, then use the disco 4.86 installer to install the mod [do not apply the 1.1 patch! ]
