I don't know if this is the right area, but I figure I need support so here it goes.

Is there a way to increase the far clip (render distance) of the game? Things seem to pop up right into view and it's very annoying. Sometime my weapons won't be there in certain cutscenes, or some ships pop up right in front of me even though the HUD shows that they were very close for a very long time. Also, the LOD of far things, is there a way to increase it over what's in the Options menu?

The LODs are defined in the shiparch.ini or the solararch.ini (LODRanges = ).
The first value must be 0, the second is where the next LOD level begins and so on for every level.

But normal there should be these problems you're describing.
