Tradelane Crash

Couple of weird problems have appeared recently relating tradelanes:

Although I went over topics about this sort of problem,
http://the-starport.net/freelancer/fo ... t_id=39579#forumpost39579

http://www.lancersreactor.com/archive ... answers+to+crashes#p17595

I have still crash.

Iw03 (Magellan) Tradelane_2, Br01 (New London) Tradelane_7,
and some others. Every time I want to dock with these tradelanes I got CTD. I checked everything posted and listed above, tradelane zones are in their right position, reputations are ok, counts of tls are correct, prev/next tls are ok, and prefixs as well. I also checked loadouts, npc ships, even reputations and hard cmps.

The weird thing is I have two mods with a difference in new ships. One is working, the other is not.
I haven't modified those systems above in my mods.
The new ships haven't been added to that systems so I ruled out the connecetion with them (and they work properly in the new systems).

I use sdk1.3+ adoxa jflp 1.2 for both mods.

If someone had same problem in these systems I would appreciate information about the bug.

And one more thing: if I fly near the tradelanes I don't have crash except in New London by Leeds jumpgate from Southampton.
I thought there is a relation with zones of jgs, but why just in one mod? I don't understand because as I wrote I haven't modified anything in these systems.

Thanks in advance,

Have you altered mbases.ini any? I've had a problem before with poorly defining factions on bases leading to tradelane crashes.

No, I haven't. But what is the relationship between mbases and tradelanes? How can I check if the factions listed properly or not?

Using FL_Split I've got this errors:

WARNING:General:set_gamma_function() called outside of create_buffers/destroy_buffers
WARNING: [Ship] nickname = 0xa6ac8bcd value is not unique. Aborted second version.
WARNING: Failed to get start location
WARNING: StarSystem::enter(): CLI(1) System(Iw03)

It has been a while since I have been dealig with issues alike.

From what I read here:
1. The problem is in your file(s).
2. If the game crashes when you dock a tradelane, than the most likely course is that there is something wrong with encounters that are triggered by entering the tradelane. Which might be a tradelane encounter, patrol path encounter or area encounter.
The fault may be in the encounter itself, the ship involved or the loadout.

Since you mentoined you already checked those it is likely that the error is not so obvious to see.
What I would do is:
1. Edit de Iw03.ini and comment out all the encounters. When I say comment them all out I mean all of them. Make sure to include the area encounters.
2. Next dock with the tradelane. If the problem is not longer there, you know then that the error origins from an encounter.
If the problem persists and you have really commented out all encounters then you know that the crash is not caused by encounters, ships or their loadouts.
3. Now continue to reactivate all encounters that are not near the tradelane involved. Use FL Explorer's map of the system to identify them. Don't reactivate area encounters that touch or cross the tradelane yet.
4. If everything is still okay reactivate the remaining encounters group by group or one by one, just as long as you do it systematically. At one point you will find the one that is causing the crash. If there are more than one faction using this encounter, leave one active and comment the others out.

Hope this helps.
See you in Sirius

@ Buck Danny:

Thanks for the tips bud I found the bug:

I was careless although I didn't drink anything... two loadouts were accindetly mixed. Now they work fine.

Thanks again,

~D
