hi,
sorry i'm kind of inactive.
just noticed a reply in this topic:

something i've made long ago and thought i could share.
it is not actually a mod but just the files, in which i've made the interface borders transparent looking like this in space:

I did the some interface long ago, but I remove several files in \DATA\INTERFACE\HUD.
If you remove these files, the result will be similar:
hud_energygauge.3db

For those guys wgo just wants to delete the cmps...

DO NOT!!!

Just add opacity to the utf. Otherwise it will cause some trouble with manuver bar and steer.
I know 'cos i did the same that was done in the first post and posted my observations on the TLR.

You might also want to change freelancer.exe to get some new arrows(but newer and better ways exist thanks to 101 hack guys)

Is this Interface based on Maverick's interface mod as they look exactly the same? The new buttons are different and look cool though, or is it just the buttons that are new?

Anyone else seeing an issue when hitting F1 to access the menu or also when opening a chatbox? I'm getting occasional crashes in Freelancer.exe at 0x00018b93 when using the RimShot Interface mod but so far no crashes after deactivating it.
