Need detailed How-to multiplayer Freelancer in wine (ubuntu)

Greetings,

I use the ubuntu OS; and regretfully im forced to co-exist with windows because of freelancer.

I play freelancer with the Discovery addon 4.86.


I can install the game in ubuntu 11.10 via wine, all goes fine, SP goes smooth (better then windows) but when i go to Multiplayer, the game cant connect to the server list.

On windows the game connects to the server list and all goes fine.


Anyone has experience on this matter? maybe eager to provide me with a how to step by step reply?
