Avid user of FLS, it's what I do all of my producing on!
Here's a collection of tracks I've done inspired by Freelancer and other general space themes.:

EDIT: The latter two tracks are more what you're probably expecting out of that link, Sendei and Senseki Station are both very experimental.

Oh hey look a thread on the Starport with OP posting in it, and suddenly everyone is at each other's throats.

It is very unlikely, if you haven't seen it around here or on ModDB.

If you're running Hamachi, make sure to disable IPv6 on that connection too; it's been a trouble-maker for me in the past.

I also notice nothing about multiplayer.

I believe this game is a remaking of Starlancer ..... And I don't like military things.

Multiplayer is mentioned quite explicitly, actually.

Been burnt way too many times by games like this, so I'm not exactly excited, but I am looking forward to seeing what comes of it.

I guess some devs aren't willing to let their castles fall, Timmy.

Sushi said he was going to upload them to the downloads section here, but that was probably over a year ago and I guess he never got around to it.

There's multiple different ones for different ships.
They're pretty easy to find when you look.

I can't help you on the main topic, but I'm fairly certain cshake's web environment only made it easier for multiple people to do things. It doesn't actually read or edit the dlls themselves, rather used FLDev's format to make it very easy to put it all into one once changes are confirmed.

There's very little in the way of linux-friendly tools for Freelancer, so far as I've seen in my time here, but good luck in your efforts.

Right, apologies for misunderstanding the question.

I'm not aware of any way to do it as you ask.
