IPv6 is a new internet protocol that we didn&amp;#039;t mod Freelancer to support yet. In case you have a rather recent OS such as Vista and later, you want to disable it (google for as to how) in order to have your game use the same protocol as the servers do.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, keep in mind, that most servers only support clients that have their respective mod installed, so sometimes you want to filter the server list ingame to display only those with compatible builds so only those you can join are displayed.</description>

.OBJ format is the way to go, guarantees universal useage and simple to convert to FL format. Balancing a mod is really a pain, and for some reason, it&amp;#039;s kinda unrealistic that Bombers weapons has no weapon type such as capital ship weapons, it could be better for balance.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Capital ships for civilian isn&amp;#039;t a bad idea, considering Star Wars, there is independent faction like Hutts, CSA and CIS (militarized merchants), in FL there is war between ALG and GMG, why couldn&amp;#039;t they have build Capships?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Freelancer gives weapons to civilians, we can continue to this way, United-Statians have the right to bear guns, why a civilian couldn&amp;#039;t fly a cruiser in an interstellar point of view?</description>

I made a simplier solution for my project:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If your ship was destroyed, you will be respawned at nearby homeworld system base with free tier 0 tech ship and equipment depending on your char&amp;#039;s faction/side.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ofcourse this way works with other game features not mentioned here to achieve quite nice permadeath solution.&lt;br /&gt;</description>

It&amp;#039;s important to get into cruise asap then just keep flying through the rings and don&amp;#039;t get distracted by weapon platforms firing at you (set your CM on auto).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It&amp;#039;s been a while since I played the SP but I think he makes a mistake near the end and you win easily.</description>

technically only a few are different as they have a pretty high polygon number which might be problematical for FL&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;but most of then can be used in FL... &lt;br /&gt;creating a texture.... uv-mapping them...exporting them to cmp... building a custom sur... building a wireframe model and hardpointing them&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;thats it</description>

General rule of thumb, if you install a mod, don&amp;#039;t install any patches, the mod will include all that you need. You also run the risk of writing over modded files and breaking the mod.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As for enb series. Freelancer is an old dx8 game, enb can be used to apply some dx9 effects like bloom and colour correction. Most modern mods include a version of it.</description>

I seem to have run into a snag with FLEx (surprising, right?). Im using the program for the only thing its good for - creating bases (bare bones i.e. no commodities, missions or anything, just the model) however, I can&amp;#039;t seem to find the system folder anywhere. I&amp;#039;ve tried dragging and dropping from FLEx onto the desktop but it says its no longer there. The mod folder that features this system is empty save for the script. Despite this, FLEx will allow me to edit and add bases to the system.
